Description
Pressure tests are a recognised method for inspecting pipework systems in the field of pipework construction. In the field of drinking water distribution, the technical regulations of DVGW W 400-2 stipulate that every pipework system must undergo a pressure test after installation in order to “verify that the pipes have been installed correctly […] and to establish the overall leak-tightness of the pipework system.” It is also stipulated that, for larger pipeline volumes, motorised pumps must be used which are capable of building up the required pressure in the pipeline within a specified time frame.
Test pressure adjustable in 0.1 bar increments
Frequency converter for controlled pressure build-up and pressure maintenance without pressure surges
Storz connection and quick-release couplings for water supply and drainage
Optionally available with flow measurement
Optionally available with a disinfection programme
Optionally available with wheels
Features of the MPP 30-30
Enables pressure build-up for all procedures in accordance with W 400-2
Non-return valve to lock the pressure line and integrated overpressure protection
Can be combined with smart memo
Automatic after-pumping and pressure regulation via an integrated control circuit
Max. flow rate 30 l/min at 30 bar outlet pressure
Robust stainless steel frame, smart design in the usual Esders quality
Combination with smart memo
With our pressure testing kit smart memo, you can carry out a wide variety of menu-guided test procedures, which make your work easier, save you time and prevent tests from being carried out incorrectly.
With the DVGW W 400-2 option pack, the smart memo gains access to all current pressure testing procedures in accordance with W 400-2, including comprehensive documentation options and digital measurement data management via Esders Connect.
Our new MPP 30-30 is also "smart" and can communicate with the smart memo pressure test kit and exchange data via a wired interface. Thanks to the communication between the two devices, the smart memo can remotely control the MPP 30-30 whilst a test is in progress, thereby further automating the test procedure and preventing incorrect operation or errors in carrying out the procedure.
Air flow measurement, remote control and live measurement during water testing
Save time and money on water pressure tests thanks to the seamless integration of the smart memo and the MPP 30-30! Both devices can communicate with each other and exchange data via a wired interface. Thanks to the additional air volume measurement function, you’ll receive a reading of the residual air in the pipework immediately after the pressurisation phase!
You also benefit from the automation of the test procedure, as the smart memo controls the MPP 30-30. Simply start the test on the device and the smart memo will carry out almost all steps of the test automatically.
Your benefits
- Time saved when there is too much residual air in the pipework: You do not have to wait for the pressure drop test to complete; instead, you receive information about excess residual air immediately after the pressure build-up
- Simplification of the test
- Reduction of errors through automation
The additional functions are part of the Feature Subscription for smart memo and are billed as part of an annual fee per device. The following options are included:
Remote control
The smart memo and the MPP 30-30 communicate with each other and exchange measurement values. Test sequences for water pressure tests can be carried out automatically. The smart memo controls the pump and starts/stops pressure regulation/maintenance at the correct time. This prevents errors during execution and saves you valuable time in your day-to-day work.
Air volume determination
This involves determining the residual air in the test line. Immediately after the pressurisation phase is complete, an assessment of whether the line is free of air is displayed. You therefore find out at the earliest possible stage whether there is too much air in the line. In the best-case scenario, this saves you a whole working day! Air volume determination is a reliable and innovative addition to the pressure drop test.
Clear results are calculated based on physical equations that describe the fundamental processes within the pipework. Unlike the results of the pressure drop test, these results are independent of how the test is carried out and of the personnel performing it on site.
Live measurement
With live measurement, you can keep an eye on ongoing measurements on the smart memo at all times. Measurement values can be tracked on mobile devices via the Esders Connect app.
The Feature Subscription includes use of the “Remote Control” and “Air Flow Measurement” options, as well as live measurement on the smart memo. The subscription period is one year. A separate connection cable is required to link the smart memo to the MPP test pump. You do not need to send the smart memo to us for the upgrade. You can order the Feature Subscription as usual and carry out the update very easily via the Esders Connect app.
* These functions are available for all water pressure tests and all procedures covered by the DVGW W 400-2, ÖVGW W 101 and EN 805 standards.
