Description
The reduction of methane emissions in the gas grid has been an ambitious project for years and is getting more and more attention due to the EU Methane Regulation. Flaring of natural gas is a common method to significantly reduce operational methane emissions (blow-off emissions during flushing).
Recently, the method has also been anchored in the newly published DVGW Code of Practice G 404. Against the background of increasing hydrogen feed-in and individual hydrogen pipelines, flaring of hydrogen is also gaining in importance. Mobile flares are described in G 404 as an effective tool for reducing gas emissions. This applies equally to the low, medium and high pressure ranges. We offer you the right mobile flare for every case of application.
Variants
The Mobile Flare S was specially developed for house connections or mains connection lines. It is extremely compact and ready for use in just a few minutes.
The Mobile Flare M has a throughput approx. four times greater than the Mobile Flare S and is used for flaring gas in the low- and medium-pressure network in the area of the distribution pipelines. It is also compact and quickly ready for use.
All flares have an integrated continuous ignition for stable combustion and a flame arrester to protect the pipeline.

Safe emptying of LPG tanks
Our Mobile Gas Flare offers safety and efficiency, as well as easy handling for environmentally friendly disposal of liquid gas residues. Thanks to the robust and compact design of the flare, it is ideal for everyday workshop use or mobile specialised operations.
LPG tanks may only be emptied by siphoning or flaring in a specially designated area. Please refer to the extracts from the DGUV, the DVFG and the TAK.
Standard volume flow
The standard volume flow of the Mobile Gas Flare M has been significantly increased in comparison to the Mobile Gas Flare S, so that even large pipe volumes can be taken out of service in an acceptable period of time. The standard volume flow at comparable network overpressure is approx. five times greater than that of the Mobile Gas Flare S.
Due to the large volume flow of the Mobile Gas Flare M, it is not recommended for use with house connections.
