Safe shaft inspection and clearance measurement with OLLI
When entering shafts and confined spaces – for example, in gas, water or sewage infrastructure – there is a potential risk to life due to toxic or explosive gas atmospheres. According to DGUV Rule 113-004 (Germany), a so-called clearance measurement is mandatory before starting work in order to rule out hazards due to oxygen deficiency, toxic gases or explosive atmospheres.
OLLI as a personal gas detection device
The OLLI is our compact, explosion-proof pump or diffusion handheld measuring device for continuous monitoring of the atmosphere. It measures up to five gases simultaneously – including oxygen and combustible and toxic gases (e.g. H₂S, CO, CO₂) – and provides reliable warnings in case of danger.

When flushing and decommissioning pipelines, residual gas is produced that must be flared. Network operators face the challenge of documenting the exact amount of methane flared – especially in the context of the new EU Methane Regulation. Compliance with this regulation is crucial for transparency and sustainability.
The OLLI with pressure measurement for measuring gas volume
The OLLI can also be configured with a precise pressure sensor. In combination with our Mobile Gas Flares, it accurately measures the amount of methane or propane flared – and thus provides all the data required for legal documentation in accordance with the EU Methane Regulation.

Precise leak detection in water pipes with OLLI tracer gas
Water losses due to leaks in drinking water pipes and domestic plumbing are not only economically problematic, but also environmentally damaging. Conventional acoustic methods often reach their limits when it comes to very small leaks.
The OLLI tracer gas for leak detection with forming gas
The OLLI Tracergas is a specialised gas detection device for locating even the smallest leaks using forming gas (5% hydrogen, 95% nitrogen). This method is particularly gentle, effective and economical – and also works in complex pipe systems.
