Yes – Full Service is a sensible investment, particularly for new and fully functional equipment. After all, the better a device is maintained from the very beginning, the longer it will remain reliable in use. Full Service provides preventive protection against unexpected breakdowns, repair costs and administrative hassle. Even though our devices are designed for maximum durability, spare parts are subject to natural wear and tear – regardless of the device’s age. With the integrated extended warranty and comprehensive support, you’re on the safe side in the long term – with minimal effort and maximum planning security. This ensures your technology remains operational at all times – and your investment is protected for the long term.
“I only want to have repairs done when necessary – I don’t want to be paying all the time.”
One-off repairs may seem cheaper in the short term, but they are usually difficult to plan for – both technically and financially. The Full Service offers you fixed monthly costs and full control over your budget, whilst also saving you the hassle of internal coordination, placing orders and waiting times.
“Our equipment has been running smoothly for years – why go to all that extra effort?”
Older devices, in particular, are at significantly higher risk of breakdowns. Although the devices are robust, wear-and-tear parts such as sensors, filters and batteries need to be replaced over time. The Full Service offers you insurance that is best taken out whilst the devices are still working perfectly.
“The Full Service is only worth it if you have a lot of devices, isn’t it?”
The Full Service package is also beneficial in the case of single devices, as many are legally required to undergo annual maintenance. The failure of a single device can disrupt the entire operation, as no replacement device is available. By prioritising Full Service devices during maintenance and reducing internal administrative workload, you will have your device back more quickly and downtime will be significantly reduced.
“What if I want to cancel the Full Service contract?”
The Full Service contract has a minimum term of 12 months, but can be terminated with three months’ notice before the end of the term. This means you can cancel the contract in good time if you wish.
“The Full Service is too expensive – I’d rather save my money and get repairs done if anything goes wrong.”
Unplanned repairs are usually significantly more expensive than the service fee included in a Full Service contract. Thanks to these fixed costs, you can plan and control your expenditure at all times. The Full Service actively prevents damage rather than simply repairing it, thereby saving you not only the cost of repairs but also any costs that might arise within your business as a result of equipment failure.
“We prefer to carry out the maintenance on the equipment ourselves.”
Annual maintenance of the devices is required by law under the DGUV and may only be carried out by certified personnel. The Full Service guarantees maintenance, documentation and software updates that comply with legal requirements. With Esders’ Full Service, you are legally covered, with verified documentation and official manufacturer’s certificates.
“What does the extended warranty in the Full Service package cover?”
Even older devices that are no longer covered by the standard warranty benefit from the annual service included in our Full Service package – and thus from ongoing maintenance and servicing throughout the entire contract period. This helps extend the lifespan of your device and ensures consistently accurate measurement results and reliable operation.
“Are the measurement packages also included in the Full Service?”
Yes, the measurement packages, which would normally need to be reordered when used up, are already included in the Full Service package, and you will receive all measurement data free of charge, conveniently and digitally via our Esders Connect customer portal. This means you can access your measurement data anytime, anywhere.
